Apple Mail on macOS and iOS supports IMAP email accounts. Here's how to add your Double Hosting email to Mail on your Mac or iPhone.
Adding on Mac (Apple Mail)
- Open Mail and go to Mail > Add Account
- Choose Other Mail Account and click Continue
- Enter your name, email, and password, click Sign In
- If auto-detection fails, enter IMAP server:
mail.yourdomain.comPort 993 SSL, and SMTP:mail.yourdomain.comPort 587 TLS
Adding on iPhone / iPad
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account
- Tap Other > Add Mail Account
- Fill in name, email, password, and description
- Select IMAP, enter the incoming and outgoing server details
- Tap Save
Required Settings
- IMAP Host: mail.yourdomain.com β Port 993 β SSL
- SMTP Host: mail.yourdomain.com β Port 587 β TLS
- Username: full email address
