Configuring the Imunify360 Firewall

Imunify360 is a comprehensive server security suite deployed on all Double Hosting shared servers. It provides real-time malware scanning, intrusion detection, and a firewall β€” all managed automatically.

What Imunify360 Does

  • Blocks malicious IPs automatically based on global threat intelligence
  • Scans uploaded files for malware in real time
  • Detects brute-force login attempts and temporarily bans attacking IPs
  • Monitors file changes and alerts on suspicious modifications

Accessing Imunify360 in cPanel

In cPanel, go to Security > Imunify360. The dashboard shows recent incidents, blocked IPs, and scan results. You can view details about blocked access attempts and manually whitelist IPs that have been incorrectly blocked.

Whitelisting a Blocked IP

If your own IP is blocked (you'll typically see a 403 Forbidden error), contact Double Hosting support or log in via an alternative IP. In the Imunify360 dashboard, find the blocked IP under Incidents and click Move to White List.

Running a Manual Malware Scan

In Imunify360, go to Malware Scanner > Files and click Start Malware Scan. The scan checks all files in your account against malware signatures. Any detections are listed with the option to clean or quarantine them.
