Email forwarders automatically redirect messages from one address to another. This is useful for routing contact@ or info@ to your personal Gmail without setting up a separate inbox.
Creating a Forwarder
In cPanel, go to Email > Forwarders and click Add Forwarder. Enter the address to forward from (e.g., info on your domain), and the destination email address. Click Add Forwarder.
Domain-Level Forwarding
You can also forward all email for an entire domain to one address β useful if you're migrating away from a domain but still want to receive any emails sent to it. Go to Forwarders > Add Domain Forwarder.
Note on Forwarding and Spam
When you forward email, the forwarded messages may be marked as spam by the receiving server because the original sender domain doesn't match your domain. Adding a DMARC policy and ensuring SPF is correct reduces this risk.
