Autoresponders automatically reply to incoming emails with a preset message β perfect for out-of-office notices, support acknowledgements, or vacation replies.
Creating an Autoresponder
In cPanel, go to Email > Autoresponders and click Add Autoresponder. Fill in:
- Character Set: UTF-8
- Email: the address to apply the autoresponder to
- From: sender name shown in the auto-reply
- Subject: e.g., "We received your message"
- Body: the auto-reply message text
- Start/Stop: optionally set a date range
Click Create/Modify to save.
Reply Interval
The interval field sets how many hours must pass before the same sender receives another autoresponse. Set to 24 to send at most one autoresponse per day to the same person.
Removing an Autoresponder
From the Autoresponders list, find the entry and click Delete. Incoming emails will no longer receive an automatic reply.
