You can add your Double Hosting email account to Microsoft Outlook on Windows, Mac, or the Outlook mobile app. Use IMAP for access across multiple devices.
Email Server Settings
You'll need these settings:
- Incoming (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com β Port 993 β SSL/TLS
- Outgoing (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com β Port 587 β STARTTLS
- Username: your full email address
- Password: your email account password
Adding the Account in Outlook
- Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account
- Enter your email address and click Connect
- If Outlook doesn't auto-detect settings, choose IMAP and enter the server details above
- Enter your password and click Connect
Outlook Mobile App
In the Outlook app, tap the + icon to add an account. Choose Add Email Account, enter your address, tap Continue. If not auto-configured, select IMAP and enter the server settings manually.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If Outlook can't connect: verify the server address includes mail. prefix, ensure SSL is enabled for the correct port, and confirm the password matches your cPanel email password (not your cPanel login password).
