Softaculous is an auto-installer built into cPanel that lets you deploy WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, WooCommerce, and 400+ other applications in under a minute.
Accessing Softaculous
In cPanel, scroll to the Software section and click Softaculous Apps Installer. You'll see a catalogue of applications. Use the search bar or browse categories to find what you need.
Installing an Application
Click an application, then Install Now. Fill in the domain, directory, admin credentials, and email. Click Install. Softaculous creates the database, copies files, and configures everything automatically.
Managing Installed Applications
Click the Installations icon at the top of Softaculous to see all installed apps. From here you can clone, backup, restore, update, or remove any installation without manual file handling.
Softaculous Backups
Softaculous can create a full backup of any installed application β files and database together. Go to Installations, find your app, and click the Backup icon. Store these backups off-server for disaster recovery.
