Setting Up Your First Email Account

A professional email address at your own domain (like hello@yourdomain.com) builds trust with customers. Here's how to create your first email account in minutes.

Create the Email Account in cPanel

In cPanel, go to Email > Email Accounts and click Create. Enter a username (e.g., hello), choose your domain, set a strong password, and set a mailbox quota. Click Create.

Access Your Email via Webmail

You can read email immediately through Webmail. Go to yourdomain.com/webmail, log in with your full email address and password. We recommend Roundcube as the webmail client β€” it's clean and fast.

Set Up on Your Phone or Desktop App

To use your email in Outlook, Apple Mail, or a mobile app, you'll need these settings:

  • IMAP server: mail.yourdomain.com β€” Port 993 (SSL)
  • SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.com β€” Port 587 (TLS)
  • Username: your full email address
  • Password: the email account password

Send a Test Email

Send a test email to a Gmail or personal address to confirm delivery works. If email is going to spam, you may need to set up SPF and DKIM records β€” see the Email Setup category for a detailed guide.
