Addon Domains let you host multiple, completely separate websites under a single hosting account. Each addon domain has its own document root, email accounts, and databases.
Adding an Addon Domain
In cPanel, go to Domains > Addon Domains. Enter the domain name, choose a document root (or accept the default), set an FTP password, and click Add Domain.
Pointing DNS to Your Server
If the domain is registered with another registrar, update its nameservers to point to Double Hosting, or add an A record pointing to your server's IP (found under Server Information in cPanel).
Installing Sites on Addon Domains
Once the domain is added and DNS is pointing correctly, you can install WordPress or any other application via Softaculous β just select the addon domain from the domain dropdown during installation.
Managing Addon Domains
To remove an addon domain, go to Addon Domains, find the domain in the list, and click Remove. This removes the domain routing but does NOT delete the files in the document root β you must delete those manually.
