Accessing Your Control Panel (cPanel)

cPanel is the control panel used to manage your hosting account β€” files, databases, email, domains, and more. This guide shows you how to log in and find your way around.

How to Log In to cPanel

There are two ways to access cPanel:

  1. From your Double Hosting dashboard, click the cPanel button next to your hosting account β€” this logs you in automatically.
  2. Navigate directly to yourdomain.com/cpanel and enter your hosting username and password.

Navigating the Interface

cPanel is organised into sections. The most commonly used ones are:

  • Files β€” File Manager, FTP Accounts, Backup
  • Databases β€” MySQL, phpMyAdmin
  • Email β€” Email Accounts, Forwarders, Spam Filters
  • Domains β€” Addon Domains, Subdomains, Redirects
  • Security β€” SSL/TLS, IP Blocker, Directory Privacy

Using the Search Bar

The search bar at the top of cPanel is the fastest way to find any tool. Just type the feature name (e.g., "phpMyAdmin" or "Cron Jobs") and click the result.

Changing the cPanel Theme

Double Hosting uses the Jupiter theme by default, which is clean and modern. You can switch themes from Preferences > Change Style within cPanel.
