Understanding Auto-Renewal

Auto-renewal ensures your hosting and domains renew automatically so you never experience unexpected downtime. Here's how it works and how to manage it.

How Auto-Renewal Works

7 days before your service expires, we send you a renewal reminder by email. 1 day before expiry, we charge your default payment method for the renewal period. If payment succeeds, the service is extended. If payment fails, we retry and alert you to update your payment method.

Disabling Auto-Renewal

To turn off auto-renewal for a specific service, go to Services in your dashboard, click the service, and toggle Auto-Renew off. You'll need to renew manually before expiry to avoid interruption.

Warning: If a domain expires and enters redemption, recovering it may cost significantly more than a standard renewal.

Renewal Reminder Emails

Ensure your account email is current so you receive renewal reminders. Go to Account > Profile to update your email address. We send reminders at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry.
