Introduction to cPanel

cPanel is the industry-standard web hosting control panel. It provides a graphical interface for managing every aspect of your hosting account β€” files, databases, email, domains, security, and more.

What is cPanel?

cPanel runs on your hosting server and gives you a visual dashboard to perform tasks that would otherwise require command-line knowledge. It's included with all Double Hosting shared and WordPress plans.

Key Sections of cPanel

  • Files β€” File Manager, FTP, Backups, Disk Usage
  • Databases β€” MySQL Databases, phpMyAdmin
  • Email β€” Email Accounts, Forwarders, Autoresponders, Spam Filters
  • Domains β€” Addon Domains, Subdomains, Redirects, Zone Editor
  • Security β€” SSL/TLS Manager, IP Blocker, Two-Factor Auth
  • Software β€” Softaculous, PHP Selector, Node.js
  • Advanced β€” Cron Jobs, Error Logs, Terminal

Logging In to cPanel

Access cPanel from your Double Hosting dashboard by clicking cPanel Login, or go directly to yourdomain.com/cpanel and enter your hosting credentials.

Using cPanel Search

The search box at the top of cPanel is the fastest way to navigate. Type any feature name to find it instantly β€” for example, type "cron" to jump to Cron Jobs, or "ssl" to go to the SSL manager.
