How to Request a Migration
After signing up, open a support ticket or live chat and provide:
- Your current host's cPanel username and password (or SFTP credentials)
- The server hostname or IP address
- Which domains/sites you want migrated
Timeline
Most migrations complete within 24 hours. Complex migrations with many databases or large file sizes may take up to 48 hours. Your old site remains live throughout β we only switch the DNS once the new copy is verified.
After Migration
We verify that everything works on the new server before changing DNS. We'll notify you when the migration is complete and ask you to confirm the site looks correct. Then we update nameservers or A records to point to Double Hosting.
